The 3 hour spin off about the early life of Darth Vader is a thrilling piece of work that will not let you leave your seat for the entire movie.

The movie starts right off where we last saw Darth Vader in Revenge of the Sith, immediately after he got his new suit on. We can feel the pain in his every step as we hear his first couple breaths. That deep and ominous breathing that has now become a trademark of the Star Wars franchise. So much is racing through his mind at once, we hear the plea of Padme ``Anakin, you're breaking my heart. you're going down a path I can’t follow” then the scream of Obi Wan “Let her go Anakin, LET HER GO!” and then the screams as he burned down by the bank of the Lava. This all together shows the pain and conflict still going on inside his head. He knows his new master can sense it too. This scene is just the perfect scene to show how this whole movie is going to go. Letting go of the past, moving on with your new future.

The movie already has a 98% on rotten Tomatoes and a 4.9 out of 5 stars. The audience score is already at 95% which shows you just how much the fans enjoyed this movie. Some critics are calling it one of the best Star Wars movies ever made. Rolling Stones said it was “the perfect spin-off and backstory to Darth Vader”

The director Spencer Hughes had this to say about the new fan favourite movie. “Most of us just know the character Darth Vader to be the ruthless killer that he is, but don’t really understand the pain he went through to get to that stage. He had to deal with not only his new torture suit, the death of his beloved wife and his total betryal of the Jedi Order and his master and mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi and his pure hatred towards him. Anakin is the saddest character in all of Star Wars”

I have not yet seen the movie but as a long time Star Wars and Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker fan I cannot wait to see where this story takes us
